Health & safety information for teachers, students, and healing professionals using the studio

Updated: Oct 3, 2020

We are happy to announce that as an uncategorized Limited Personal Service, the State, County, and City governments are allowing us to continue to provide private and semi-private lessons and healing services which have been the backbone of our services for years!

We are implementing the following modifications and safety protocols teachers and students should be aware of when visiting the studio.

Symptoms: If you have any symptoms of illness, please do not attend classes or private sessions. Reschedule your appointment for at least 14 days later or request a virtual class or distance healing session. There is no cancellation penalty for being cautious.

Ventilation: The studio will be well ventilated and disinfected daily. Antiviral and disinfectant gels and sprays will be readily available in all rooms for your mat, props, and hands. It is recommended that you bring your own mat. Teachers and healing professionals are responsible for cleaning all touched surfaces in between each session during their time in the studio (i.e. light switches, door handle, fan on/off button, A/C, and props).

Scheduling: Clients and classes will be scheduled at least 30 minute apart. Our aim is to limit contact with people you are not expecting to meet which includes other healing practitioners, students, and clients.

Social distancing: A distance of 6' between individuals will allow for a maximum of four (4) students and one teacher while in the lobby and Practice room, and two people in the Healing room. Please be respectful by using your mask and social distancing when you move about. No walk-ins will be allowed at this time. (updated 10/3/20)

Mask wearing: We recognize that interruption of free breathing reduces the benefits of a yoga practice; therefore, students may remove their mask when on their mat or cushion. All teachers and healing professionals must wear a face covering whenever 6' distance is not possible.

Virtual classes and distance healing: You may request a class or have a private lesson online via Zoom. The studio is available for recording via Zoom. Keep in mind the studio does not have its own wifi-- teachers will need to bring in their own portable wifi (HotSpot).

Your health is our priority. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Yours in peace & health,

Kristen & Jeff Fewel
