Dear Friends,
I am happy to share that starting in June, 2021 we will be able to safely resume group classes in-studio, starting with just a couple and slowly growing as more teachers and students express desire to return to in-person classes.
As public health continues to improve with vaccines and the CA tier system vanishes, we have set up guidelines that will move us towards safely being in each other’s presence again. In order to maintain flow and consistency for all students and teachers, here are our guidelines for the practice room until further notice.
~Maximum attendance 6 (+ 1 facilitator/teacher) for a maximum of 7 people.
~Pre-registration to avoid overcrowding or having to turn people away. No walk-ins.
~HEPA air purifier (located in the practice room) will always be on.
~Hand sanitation pumps are available in every room.
~Masks optional.
After careful deliberation, we are striving to cultivate an atmosphere where each individual feels comfortable with their personal choice to wear a mask or not, and still enjoy their class. As the owner of the studio, I am not quiet about having received the Covid vaccination because I feel people have a right to know that about me. We won’t ask anyone about their vaccine status as a condition of attendance; however, on common hygiene principles, we do have the right to not permit anyone with transmittable symptoms of sickness. That being said, masks will be optional and we will refrain from asking others about their vaccine status.
One last note…last year several yoga centers had to close, leaving many people without a place to practice or teach. We are getting calls, so if you are (or want to be) an independent teacher interested in renting the studio for private or group yoga, meditation, trainings, or healing groups, contact me directly. Our rates are very reasonable and we love to support independent teachers!
